Susie MacMurray has made rapid progress on the international fine art scene. A former musician, her intuitive and inventive use of such diverse materials as uninflated balloons, bird feathers, human hair and latex gloves has resulted in art making which engages the viewer on both physical and emotional levels. Susie addresses such subjects as the fragility of nature, mortality and the accumulation of human experience with a deft touch and, arguably, in a way that only a woman could experience.
